  • Sherri Bix found this bird at 6 am, she went that way last night and is sure she didn’t see it there (the location is a block from her house).  She must have called Jodi Rigler, who called Pam Evans.  I will let her know not to call Jodi anymore because she moved.  I got the original finder’s information from Pam because she’s not licensed for birds, so this wasn’t a transfer, it was technically just transportation.  Pam gave it to someone named Travis who met Kathy with it.  I wrote both Sherri & Pam on the finder sheet because Pam would really like to be notified as well.

  • 563-210-4240 Jim Call, Donahue, Iowa, GHOW, last 2 days by creek and farm entrance by fence, hobbling around, but can’t fly. 2 mi north of Donahue. 10955 283rd Street, behind Salmon Ridge Dairy, turn west on 283 street, ½ mi west in cornfields, 15 min from Walcott truck stop. (Flora drove out from IC and tried to catch but couldn’t.) Left message for 
  • Call about a newly hatched baby bird, didn’t see any nest.  Referred to Dr Jana, if they could get a picture and decide what it was for sure.
  • Snapping turtle HBC - referred to Dr. Jana or Suzanne.
  • Lethargic squirrel Terry Trueblood park - referred to Suzanne or Dr. Jana.
  • Colin told me about On The Run Pet Rescue, gentlemans name is Andy 563-570-0572, is willing to help capture and transport.  They are in the Quad Cities so that may be a helpful contact.
