- Craig from USFW called about BAEA trapped in utility pole in Cedar Falls. He had called a few places and got a hold of Tracy from Wild Thunder who is going out there to meet them.
- Melody from West Liberty called about RTHA in backyard that isn’t flying. She captured and will bring to clinic.
- Brad from ACT campus called about GHOW on the ground. They do not feel comfortable capturing. Elana went to capture and brought to clinic (new admit above).
- Elizabeth from Poweshiek County found an injured gray catbird in her yard while mowing. Referred her to IBR.
- Call about a duck near the Coralville dam with a hook in its beak. The caller said it was too fast for them to capture, but that they had also notified the DNR and just wanted to let us know. Sent a text with info for Blackhawk and Wildlife, just in case anything changed and they were able to capture.
- Jeremy from Dubuque County Conservation has a juvenile BAEA that was pulled out of a stream. He thinks he can get someone to transport the bird to us, so I gave Elana his info to coordinate tomorrow.
