  • Doing a twitchy pecking motion when we opened cage and when we were holding. Appeared to be tracking me as I moved around, but not sure if he was seeing or just hearing me?
  • Started pecking at the mice right away/pulling out guts but did not attempt to tear with feet.

  • Mara with IC Animal Services found injured hawk and took to shelter. When I called back, the vet tech had already done an exam and found infected wounds with maggots, so they euthanized.
