  • Soaked both feet in a diluted solution of nolvasan and water (used one of the blue bowls we use for syringes) for 5 minutes.
  • Put in quarantine area.
  • #🦅🩺-bird-care/short-term Saturday/Sunday crew: send Sonja a picture of how the foot is looking and soak both feet again in diluted solution of nolvasan and water for 5 minutes. Per Sonja, do not cover with bandage or apply TAB.

Referred to Blackhawk but also gave number for rehabber in Dubuque County (the sheet says they can work with migratory birds once they have their permit, so I let him know I wasn’t sure if they could or not, but it was closer so he could at least try reaching out to them).
  • Injured Mourning Dove in Marion. Referred to Blackhawk
